Historically originating as Buddhist temple lodge during the Heian era, the inn changed to a Shinto connection in 1905, and continues to house one of Togakushi Shrine's holy images. True to its location in Togakushi, one of Nagano's top buckwheat growing regions, the inn boasts a kaiseki dinner incorporating soba in the dishes.

Nagano Station(JR호쿠리쿠(나가노)신칸센)에서 Take Alpico's bus to Togakushi from Platform #7 outside the Zenkoji Exit. Use the Chusha Daimon stop (60 min), then 2 min on foot.
Demand-taxi also available from Joetsu Myoko Station.
